Trip to Oslo!
All you need for a nice trip :)
Well this was a nice trip between 7th and 9thof October. We actually organized this by our self. OK, I was not that helpful in the organization, because I was added to the trip later. But you get the point. So we began on the morning of 7th. First there were few bus trips, so that we finally arrive to the Tampere airport. We all know what the procedure on airport is. No funny story here. :P Only funny thing is to see how very small this airport is.  But still busy. OK, there was also this girl, who questioned me about leaving Finland, and some other stuff. And after that Luka had to say that I was interrogated because of suspicion of being a terrorist :P So yea, we flew to Norway, Rigge airport, which is like 45min drive out of Oslo. However, this airport is very new and well organized. I was impressed. Also busses to Oslo were already waiting outside. SO, I can say that getting from Tampere to Oslo was really easy. So there we were on Oslo bus stop. Confused by the time change, and now idea where we have to go. No no, other knew where to go and what to do, it was just me :P I don’t know what happened to me, usually I’m very organized and always know what to do, but that trip I was trying to enjoy. Not be the one to lead and not to stress about everything. And luckily for Susi, I did that. Susanna is also one of the Erasmus students here. And she is so nice. Always smiling and taking care of others. She is like a mother to us. (well she is a bit older, so it suits her :P) Well, back to the trip. Yea, Susi made this great plan what to see in Oslo and where to sleep, eat… First thing we did was walk through the city center. Around University and Royal palace. Also some eating was in there. And I must say, I really like center of Oslo. There is so many different buildings and parks, there are a lot of fountains. Really nice city. The nicest part of the city is definitely new apartment buildings in the bay. Everything looks so perfect. It makes you wish to live there. But when you think what could be the price of these apartments, you better not know. Because everything is sooooooooo expensive in Oslo. Everything, from food to drinks…However, there is a lot to see. On the second day of the trip, some of our group went to one big ski jump a bit out of Oslo. They say the view from there is amazing. The rest of us went walking around the city. And we ended up in this big park with around 200 sculptures, made all by the same guy. I must say this is the best park ever. All the sculptures are figures in different poses. AMAZING :DThen me and Beatrix(another Erasmus) went to Viking ship museum. We had to walk there, because we did not want to pay for the bus. And it was a really nice walk. We went though some woods, nice paths and nice colors on trees. Also we passed Nordica museum (amazing building).  And then Viking ship museum. I mean, you know now already that I like history and ships. And again, this was a desert for me. I could be in there and analyze for few hours. Just seeing that three ships was mind blowing. All the detail and pieces with the ships. AWESOME! Must see if you are in Oslo. Well this day was not over, not at all. Because we did not have place at hostel and we had bus to the airport like at 4 in the morning. So we had to stay up all night. Some went to some bar, some to McDonalc. I went to Oslo opera house to take pictures. As you can see opera house is amazing building. A lot of glass and white stone. So during the night it is well lighted, so is great for photography. Even thou I was very cold, I enjoyed some alone time.
So yea, that was all about the trip. I must say it was nice. Very expensive, but nice :D
Enjoy :)
